Is there an age requirement? 

To become a firefighter, you must be 18 years old and pass fitness requirements. Are you under 18 but still looking to get involved? Become a junior firefighter! 

Is this a paid position?

Currently, we are recruiting volunteer firefighters, fire police and junior firefighters. However, this could set you on the path to a career in firefighting, like it has for many of our members.

How much time do I have to spend volunteering?

As much time as you can give. Your willingness to volunteer allows us to better serve our community.     

Is training/equipment included? 

We bring the training and equipment; you bring the interest and commitment. We bring the training and equipment; you bring the interest and commitment. At no cost to you, as a firefighter, you will learn the latest safety and response protocols in our training classes and participate in specialized drills on a weekly basis.
